Do Asymmetrical Surfboards Work For Non-Pros?

In this Joyride board test, we sample the Album Disasym—an asymmetrical "performance shortboard". Made famous by Dane Reynolds in the original Electric Acid Surfboard Test, the Disasym features a diagonally-chopped nose/tail and tri-fin setup that is definitely not a thruster. Prior to receiving the Disasym, our resident board-tester, Michael Ciaramella, had never ridden an asymmetrical surfboard. Inside you'll find his first and second (but not last) sessions on the board in a variety of conditions.
