Josh Kerr was riding a 5'2 twin fin at this short, punchy peak on Bali's east coast yesterday - boosting airs, throwing the fins out and hacking sections at will. The wind played nice all morning and it was only in the early afternoon that it started to get a bit out of line. Even with a little bump up the face, there was still plenty of shape in it. Josh Kerr Twin Fin Shredding


There was some high quality surfing going down at Keramas this morning, but the opening ride of this clip of Josh Kerr was particularly enjoyable to watch. It was a perfect shaped wave for carving and the power and flow this bloke wields with a twin fin is as good as it gets. There were a few barrels, but it was the shapely walls and heavy rail surfing that stole the show today. Some of the surfers featured in this video... CI FishBeard Swap — Parker & Zeke


On a recent star-studded trip for Snapt 4’s epic new surf film set to release later next year, Zeke Lau was eyeing a fellow CI teamriders’ FishBeard. To that point, he’d never tried one so after bagging plenty of A-plus clips for the film project he asked Parker Coffin if he could give his 5’7” x 19 x 2 3/8” a spin. Although there's a bit of a gap in the dims they would each typically run, Zeke, who is 6’1” and 190 lbs, was still up for trying it even though Parker is 5’7” and 160 lbs. “I ride my FishBeards a tad longer than what I think the average person typically does," explained Parker. "I just like that feeling of the longer rail because I am usually riding it when I feel like doing a bit more drawn out lines. So I think that helped lessen that jump for Zeke, but he did really well for a board that is easily a few inches too small for him. Didn’t seem to be an issue though, the smile on his face said it all.” Special thanks to Snapt 4’s Logan Dulien for sharing this out-takes footage from his upcoming film.
